Car broke down today at work :( Called AA guy who towed car back to my area. He suspects its the fuel pump needing replacing , as the car keeps cutting out and now wont even start.

He said including labour, should cost around £150.......has anyone here had that problem? how much did it cost you to get it fixed?

Thanks in advance!

Until it is hooked-up to a diagnostics computer, the problem cannot really be confirmed.
It may well be the throttle positioning sensor or the coil.

Has the car been behaving strangely of late?.

Diagnostics will cost you about £80-£90 at a Ford dealership
