Outrageous, can't believe someone would do that to their 71 year old mother. What a terrible human being.Looking back to your previous post, you stated..
Now the other side of all of this is that a relative has offered to get a loan so I can clear all my current debts and get myself back on the straight and narrow. The problem is this relative has a poor credit rating and I cannot find a loan provider that doesn't charge a massive APR.poppy100 -
Poppy maybe not a terrible human being just desperate and trying to find an easier way out from these payday loans, for all we know mum may have even suggested the idea to help her grown up child out of a fix.
We do not know the full story but I do think the OP needs a long hard think about what they are expecting of mum and the effects on mums future health as well as wealth.0 -

Any decent person would have rejected the idea out of hand and not be asking around for place for a 71 year old to get a loan.0 -
JESUS..Just how low will some people go..you should be ashamed of yourself and not worry your parents...Grow up and stand behind your poor decisions..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Wrong heading should be "71 year old in need of a new daughter!"
I could not in a million years contemplate doing this to my own mother, your mother may have to work another 5/6 years to pay this money back, does not bare thinking about if she is made redundant in the meantime. I hope for her sake that she is refused.

I'm waiting for the OP to get back to us all to tell us how upset she is by us and reminding us that we're supposed to be especially nice to new posters.................0

On a positive note, at least the OP does not yet appear to have saddled her with an alabatross even the ancient mariner would have given up with.
What a parasite0 -
The OP seems to be conspicuous by her absence.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
