Probably stupid repair question
I got my first car a year ago, new. This car now has a bit of a bump on front (not my fault!) and needs to be serviced. It also has a suspension and tracking problem and plenty of tiny chips on the paintwork due to the fact it regularly gets driven down dirt tracks due to work. I've saved up some money to fix it back to new, and thankfully work have bought my department a Land Rover so no more dirt tracks! :j
My question is, if I bring it to a garage will I get taken advantage of because I know very little about cars? Is there anyway I can make sure that doesn't happen? I'm new to this area, and everyone at work drives a company car besides three of us, no one has a recommendation.

Let me get this straight
You brought a brand new car a year ago. It needs servicing soon. There is an issue with the suspension.
As its new contact the dealer about the suspension as it may be covered under the warranty, depends whats wrong with the suspension though, any more specifics you can give?
Dont get the tracking done seperately as if it can be done under warranty and the suspension needs work that should be done as part of the work.
Are you driving the car down dirt tracks for work? Do work pay you an allowance for this as its obviously causing wear to your car.
For servicing call round and get prices any vat register garage can service a car provided they use OEM parts so dont just stick with the dealer.
EDIT
You also want to get the dent sorted I assume, again you should call round some body shops and describe the problem they may be able to give you an idea of price or you may need to go down to see them.0
