please help hotels by legoland with ajoining rooms

im having problems trying to find a cheapish hotel with adjoining rooms for a 1 night stay near legoland windsor, cheapest being £189, as their is 6 of us we are unable to book a family room and it looks like its going to be to costly for us to go, and cant drive there and back in same day as my asd adhd son wouldnt cope well and would probably have a meltdown, and he is the reason we have got the tickets, hes starwars mad and hes never been so excited,,,,
has anyone got any ideas where to stay or dates to travel to get the price down as its giving me a headache
thanks in advance

The Devere Hotel at Sunningdale Park Ascot do adjoing rooms as we booked a family room in a £10 sale they had a couple of years ago and they upgraded us for free to two adjoining rooms on arrival. There were only four of us, but the rooms were big enough to have two extra put you up beds in each of them, which apparently they usually do. We just left the interconnecting doors propped back. The Devere site often has sales with rooms at £19 if you keep an eye on the site. The aascot hotel only accepts families on weekends with Friday being the best night as the heated outddor pool is open then (it is not open on Saturday and Sunday due to Weddings in the Manor House). It had nice grounds and the kids ate breakfast for free (it is £15 for four of us then, but may be a bit more now).

A lot of the £19 rooms are sold out now for their Spring promo, but it may be worth giving the hotel a ring and asking for prices on booking two interconnecting rooms.

The Premier Inn has hotels at Slough and Ascot and they currently have saver family rooms for £29 on a lot of Sundays so it may be worth booking two of these rooms and asking for them to be side by side or agin you could ring to see if they do interconnecting rooms. They also have sale rooms for the half term (click on the yellow triangle once you put in flexible dates and the legoland postcode.)

Some Premier Inn's have adjoining rooms - but not all... it might be worth calling some of the ones near by.

We went last week (easter holidays) and stayed at the Travel Lodge in Bracknell - about 10 minutes drive.
