I have won from Nuts a couple of years ago.
A huge thank you to all who post the comps and deals that make life so much fun!0 -
I'm female & I've won body builder stuff, a man's belt, & man's boots.0

I'm a man and won a holiday in a netmums competition. They made quite a big deal about it with a headline of "Netmums competition won by a man". It was a bit embarrasing and I felt a little like I shouldnt have won the prize.0

That's terrible! I doubt it states anywhere in the T&C's that you must be a woman to enter, besides which, it could be a prize shared with by a woman. Even so, it's still none of their business who wins provided that they entered fairly!! :mad:2016 Wishlist:PS4, Holiday, Books!0 -

They didnt complain about giving me the prize.. They just announced it in a strange way on the promotors website. It didnt matter as my family had a great holiday.. Just made me feel a bit awkward. It was worth it for the holiday though.0 -
As a bloke, I've never won with Nuts, Zoo, FHM et al, but have won with Cosmo, Female First, Netmums and other more female orientated sites, guess it really is just a mater of luck???Best wins 2010 - Ipod touch, Ipad, W/end in Amsterdam, 32" TV & Bluray, V Fest tix X 4, Global Gathering Tix, £100 M&S vouchers

I have won men's shoes, but I have a name that can be male too, though it is more commen as a female name.
TBH what I do is, enter girly ones in my name, and mens comps in my husbands name. He doesn't comp so we aren't duplicating.0 -
I am male with a male partner and sometimes think when we have comps for clothing they should have a gender in the title if they are not unisex or obvious (e.g. win a dress or skirt is obvious but win a coat, top or t-shirt is not). If my partner was female I would probably enter female specific competitions.
I have entered competitions on female sites when they are not gender specific (e.g. DVDs, televisions, cookery books and household appliances). I do tend to shorten my name to Pat when using female sites though!0
