Rightmove selling statistics for agents

Had an Estate Agent round yesterday to talk about putting house on't market.
One of the things he said (this one talked a good talk, knew his stuff as-far-as-I-could-tell..) was that the Rightmove statistics show his local agency office (big chain..) show time to sell significantly less than his competitors... (You could argue then he priced too low of course...)
Do members know if such stats are produced for selling agents (?and letting agents??) and if so can 'umble punters like us access them?? Had a look at RightMove but couldn't find them...
Clearly the stats will reflect what the agency does (e.g. taking a house off immediately it "sells" makes it look like agency has fewer properties on it's books so agent might not always be diligent in doing so...)
Regards & thanks in advance..

Agents have access to something called Rightmove plus, which is a laod of stat information for them to present to vendors etc.
It produces information for agents such as avergae time on market per property, click through rates for each property, they can compile comparables when going to see vendors etc.
Unfortunately not available to members of the public.0 -
Our agent used to tell us how many had looked at our property.
What they can't tell you is how many of those were nosey neighbours, or people who have time to spare at work.Been away for a while.0 -
home.co.uk has something similar which is available to the general public.
Find your local area, then select the list of local EA.
Each EA has a page which includes the number of properties the agent is marketing & the number added in the last 14 days, the websites they use, the median time their properties are on the market for (& comparison with other local agents) & the average price of their properties & how that compares to other local agents.
Hunt around & you can find other info on the site, too.0 -
Although the .homeuk site is a bit clunky it does have a lot of info.
This page gives monthly reports for the trend in asking prices and time on the market.
http://www.home.co.uk/asking_price_index/
And put in a postcode and you can see the average property price and time on the market
http://www.home.co.uk/search/agents/results.htm?location=ip14
And if Zoopla is used in your area don't forget that you can search by 'most reduced' - and if one agent predominates it can be an indicator of an agent who values high to get business. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

I doubt it matters that much. If it is priced right and on Rightmove, go with whichever agent you feel most comfortable with, at a good % commission.Been away for a while.0
