If you read my earlier thread you will see the problems I am having with Medion.
To add insult to injury I have rang Virgin/Telewest twice re problems with wireless connection to my sons pc. Unfortunately instead of getting the usually helpful Telewest staff we are now getting an Indian call centre. Give them their due they do try to help but I find it difficult to catch everything said apart from them not having a clue about my Netgear MA101 box supplied by Telewest.
They get my internet connection going but then next day it is gone. When I rang with same problem 6 months ago the Telewest lad knew about the problem and his fix worked. Something to do with changing something about "wireless zero"
Unfortunately I am not getting very far with the Indian Call Centre. I have spoken to a supervisor who will now put my problem through to the Escalation Team.
I think I am going to have to change ISP provider. Unfortunate as I like Richard Branson but I find trying to fix my pc bad enough without coping with language and geographical barriers.
All I want is my pc to work - is that asking too much.
Rant over.

Have a look at this site, which details how to turn off the "Wireless Zero" configuration. Hopefully this should solve your problems

Thank you so much, that solution worked and now the internet is staying on.Money SPENDING Expert0
