I know, I know:P But just trying to re-iterate your point because the budget is a key essential we need to know along with what the main use will be for - as you'll know, one of the older processors may be absolutely adequate. Just trying to find that out since I don't know how we can give good advice other than to keep showing links to different laptops which may mean nothing specwise to the OP.0 -
dont have a budget.....but need it for email/net, maybe some games....have a large music collection so sound and video and a largish hard disk for storage.
Was looking at Dell or Sony, dont have much knowledge on ACER ...any thoughts?0 -
Im using an older Acer at the moment and it works ok.
I wouldnt trust Dell with a barge pole to be honest.
Sony are a big brand name and have one of the best machines on the market in the AR21S but thats at least £1500.Always looking for a bargain and to help0
