Evening all,
My daughter keeps nicking my Samsung Galaxy S2 to watch BBC iplayer on it so I think it's about time she had a tablet of her own. Can anyone recommend a decent tablet which can handle iplayer on a decent wifi connection? I've seen cheap ones on ebay but not sure if they can handle iplayer. Any recommendations greatfully received. Thanks in advance!

My Scroll Excel - http://www.storageoptions.com/products/scroll/tablets/scroll-excel (also available from Ebuyer.com ) works fine with iplayer & ITV player over my 7 meg wi-fi connection.
Seems a decent tablet for the price, and was recommended by the Gadget Show last Xmas. Confusingly, despite what some of the blurb says, it does have access to Android Market too!
Edit to add - avoid anything that doesn't have a capacitive screen - my partner had one of the £49.99 ebay specials, and it was awful to use!0 -
I bought the Archos 70 from Carphone Warehouse at Christmas and am still very pleased with it.
I saw its replacement, the Archos 70b (not to be confused with the stupidly similarly named Archos 70b ereader), for £150 at GAME the other day.0 -
I don't want to start a debate of Android vs. [insert other manufactuer here] but...
+1 for the BlackBerry Playbook.
Mine works with iPlayer fine.0 -
Search for MOMO9. Its from china and many companies are rebranding them. You can get the for under £90 and they are able to run the latest android and the iplayer.0

Cheers all!
Thinking of going with 23n1th's recommendation of the MOMO9 from Amazon. Looks excellent for the price. Will post a review when I eventually get oneIn deep...0 -
If you need any pointers with anything PM me, I did a lot of research and can point you in the right direction on most things to do with these tablets.0
