Hello. So my Fiancee and I are due to get our 1st flat together. We are thinking of setting up a joint account that we can pay in £xxx every month to cover our bills that we will be paying by direct debit ( I think)
Now I currently have an account with the Bank Of Scotland that I will be keeping as my personal account, my Fiancee has an account with the Royal Bank Of Scotland that she will be keeping as her personal account.
Right so I was wondering if we set up a joint account with the Royal Bank Of Scotland would I be able to automaticaly have £XXX taken from my personal Bank Of Scotland account each week and put into our joint Royal Bank Of Scotland account to cover our Direct Debits. Is there a set amount that has to be deposited into a Royal Bank Of Scotland current account?
Or are there any other better current accounts out there that would be better for a joint account?
Thanks and sorry for the long winded question.
