The final price may have been reduced due to some fault found after survey.

That sucks! My guess would be that the offer they accepted was indeed higher, then the cash buyer threw his hands in the air and claimed all calamity when the survey came back and threatened to pull out and they then dropped the price to keep the deal going. Very sad. :-(0

Thanks for the info was just asking. We've been told it was a builder who purchased the property. I'm sick to death of looking for a home now. About to throw the towel in completely and just move to another rented property and concentrate on our wedding next year instead.Fantastic Expectations Amazing Revelations0
