might be a silly question...

but here goes

background:i`m on ib waiting for (hoping i`ll get)esa, also on income support, both myself and wife get dla,so also get sdp
before we moved areas last year all our income support/ib was paid as one payment, then after we moved they started to pay income support as one payment and ib seperately

now the question:will this affect my esa (if and when i get it),or will it be rolled into one payment again?AND are they still giving transitional relief?

hope that makes sense?
cheers
John

  • It will be one payment (the IS will no longer exist, it will all be ESA). You will receive transitional protection until the ESA rate catches up.
