    Hi plmbl,

I hope things are okay for you today. I came down with a cold on Saturday and it is definitely the worst I have had for years. Just hoping you don't have it too. I feel like having a nap and it isn't like me at all.

  • Yesterday went by in a flash (literally, thanks to doing experiments at Beavers :rotfl:). DH was  most of the day and then very jerky last night so I was on edge for a seizure but thankfully it didn't happen. He's also  today so if he's not careful he'll be sleeping in the garden :rotfl:.

Pound coin fell out of the trolley when we were shopping this morning :(. Really upset about that!!!

Managed to embarrass myself by crying at the dentist earlier! He asked why I hadn't been for my check up that was due in August and I told him about the twins and then DH getting worse. He was so lovely it made me cry. Felt rather daft about that.

Hope DH is ok and no seizures...

:( boo to the lost £1. Get yourself a trolley coin or two....I haven't bought one in ages, I always seem to find them around car parks (not that I go looking :o:rotfl:) and have a few on my key ring now.

I nearly cry everytime I go to the dentists at least you had a reason, :grouphug:. Hope you are feeling brighter soon :)

Not daft at all - you had enough on your plate at the time, so Dentist just had to wait. Nice he's lovely though.

I'm in dispute with mine over payment and have entered into email correspondence with their Practice Manager. The last time I went he fixed my slightly chipped tooth. I went down and paid what the Receptionist told me to pay - she only asked "do I have to come back?". I said "no" and paid. What's probably happened is the tooth repair was a Level 2 price but she didn't check that. I'm the layperson - I'm not expected to know. I'm perfectly happy to pay it, I just want acknowledgement that the error is theirs first of all.

Hope you feel better soon Pooh. I'm absolutely amazed that nothing has descended upon me after feeling so dodgy on Sunday night! Long may it stay away!

The annoying thing is that until recently I had 2 trolley tokens. DH has forgotten where he has put one of them, and weirdly the other one only works in Mr A's trolleys and we were at Mr T's today!!!

The twins would have been due in a fortnight (though would probably have been here already as they are normally early). Everywhere I look there are little twins in double prams/buggies. It's really weird, I noticed 3 sets in Mr T's this morning alone. And here was me thinking they were rare!

I hope you get it sorted JAT. As if paying for the dentist wasn't bad enough without all the drama too. I do count myself lucky that there is no charge for us Xx

It must be dentist week. I have been there too. :D I need my first filling in more than 20 years.

Hugs for you plmbl. It is a difficult time for you at the moment and it is maybe what is upsetting DH too. We often don't think how these things affect the father too. You two need some more quiet couple time to talk about it. Maybe MIL can help.

  • Agreed Pooh, he has just given me a sympathetic smile after seeing Kat's scan of twins on Eastenders. He obviously does remember/notice too.

Boo to fillings. I got away with it this time!

Lost another pound this week so I've ticked over the 2 stone off mark.

It's blinkin snowing and it's lying on the ground. What a flippin cheek! Xx
