Disappointed with GNER compensation offer

Just wondered if anyone else bothered claiming back for the delays on GNER on Friday 16th Feb? If so what level of compensation did you get? I had two tickets for the outward journey (ticket splitting) worth £47 together. My compensation was £5 in rail vouchers. Normally, the rail vouchers would be at least half the ticket price for that part of the journey. When I claimed back for a delayed journey to Bristol recently, I got a full refund. I'm wondering whether I should try and get some more.

Here is a link to their compensation page, GNER . It states 50% in rail vouchers for delays of between 1 and 2 hours, this will be 50% of that particular part that was late, not the whole journey, as you split the tickets. If the section of your journey that was late cost much over £10, and wasnt affected by any of the "situations out of GNERs control", then I would write or e-mail them quoting their passenger charter.0

Thanks Pompeyrich. I think they have just refunded the cheapest ticket (£10) London to Stevenage. When the delay happened mostly between Stevenage and Peterborough. In fact, I was only 5 mins late into Stevenage on a different train. If only, I'd only sent in the more expensive ticket.
I will do as you suggest and point out their error.

It will depend how late you were, if you were only 5 minutes late then you were very lucky to get any compensation at all tbh.
If you were a lot later on your next leg then you should have sent in that ticket, but they know their routes well and will know how late the train you were on was.0 -
Sorry, i didn't make that clear - wouldn't have bothered applying if it was only five mins late! I sent both tickets in with my refund form.
My train was cancelled (like all GNER trains from KX), but the train I got, got me only 5mins late into Stevenage (where the tickets split) but the majority of my delay was after Stevenage - we had to wait for a bus which crawled to Peterborough. Then we had to wait for a train at Peterborough. I finally got to my destination (retford) 1hr 45mins late.
For some reason, they have only part refunded the cheaper ticket, to Stevenage, even though the majority of the delay happened after Stevenage.0
