Tax credits - payments gone down

Wondering if anyone can help.
My monthly payments have gone down by £121 a month since the budget changes. However, my circumstances haven't changed at all so I phoned the tax credits helpline for answers.
Yesterday - told that they would be recalculating it in may based on new figures and that my new award would be worked out and any payments due backdated. The girl said nothing should change based on my figures and the recent budget changes.
Today - decided to phone again as i wasn't happy with the answers given yesterday. On the phone for 40mins and the girl kept saying it was due to recent budget changes. I asked to speak to her supervisor who basically said that because the threshold has reduced from £41,300 to £32,200 (I have two children) that this was the reason my payments have reduced.
However, I'm still under the £32,300 threshold yet my payments still reduce by £121 a month. Is this correct???
Any help much appreciated.

It isn't just the Budget changes that will have affected your claim.
What was your income for 10/11 and 11/12?

don't know off the top of my head but I'd always inform them of any changes. I know there was an increase in salary by about £2000.
What I don't like is the uncertainty of the people on the helpline in trying to explain things to you.2012 WINS

If it wasn't the Budget changes (although they may have contributed a little), then it will be your 10/11 and 11/12 income when compared. So unless you know them you won't be able to work it out.
It wouldn't take much of a salary increase to change your tax credits by £121 per month. Probably around £3500.
