Watson's budget scheme

Have just spent hours on the phone to various oil suppliers to track down the best price for my next tank load. Drives me demented doing this every time and getting different estimates from the companies about what prices are doing, then comparing with boilerjuice - really does send me up the wall.

Anyway Watson's were telling me about their budget scheme which pays interest - it sounds good, is anyone else in this scheme? I'm not sufficiently organised or rich enough to put money aside each month into a sep account, I tend to buy oil when I've got a bonus from work, use it all (very sparingly) then freeze till I can afford some more. And certainly only 500 at a time.

Any info about the Watson's scheme would be good. They claim to pay around 4% I think.

Thanks

Liz

  • I share your frustration. I have just been on several local websites looking at payment plans but there is hardly any information. I have just had 1301 litres delivered and it has cost me £915.12.

I don't know why the information isn't available online.

my parents have been on the monthly payments with watsons for a few years now. it's a weight off their mind to know the money is there for the bills when needed, and they get a little bit back when they're in credit.
    i'd definitely recommend it.
