Anyone else got any 'loud groan' type stories to tell? I used to have a fondness for hospital romances - this was way back. Particularly Lucilla Andrews.
Anyhoo I started to read more widely and got a bit 'literary' and snobby about my former faves. I can't actually remember throwing any of them out, but I guess I must have because I haven't got any of them anymore. All this was long before I'd heard or thought of selling on Amazon.
Go take a look now at what the average Lucilla Andrews paperback sells for. Go on, just take a look.
LOOOOUUUD GROOOOOOOOOAN!!!

I made a loss on a pristine hardback Jamie Oliver book from a charity shop which I put on ebay for 99p.
Hadn't heard of selling on Amazon back then
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Console yourself with the thought that just 'cos someone's listing it, it doesn't mean they're selling it! I had some books on amazon for aaaaaaaaaages and then got fed up, listed them on ebay and they were gone in one auction.:dance:One good turn gets most of the duvet!! :dance:0

I gave a Misty annual to a school sale years ago. They probably got about 20p for it. I've read they're worth about £20 these days.0
