we are staying here in may, has any been, is it near train station, any pubs and restaurants, is it good area, and what to do near there

It's near Waterloo and Vauxhall, tube stations near, nice area and plenty of good restaurants and bars etc. Good location

where abouts are the bars and restaurants please, are they in walking distance, and do you know which is the bus what stops outside the hotel is and timetable

having been there I would not call it "waterloo", i think the trade descriptions act need to get on that!!
It is in Lambeth and the nearest tube is Lambeth North, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel also that takes you into london town via southwark area. check out TFL

its a nice hotel, but ive never ate around the area.
