well done Cook_ County. Lets hope the weather's good and we have a decent view. After all there are 10,000 seats so we are highly unlikely to be near 'the action'.
londonbabe73. I agree it seems very unfair.I'm sure a lot of children would love to be there. It's a shame that you aren't allowed to take another person, but I suppose it's all to do with security .

And I'm not even sure if they will let us in...I always pretend I am a lot younger and use false dates of birth in any online prize draw (to minimise fraud)...and so their records won't match our passports at all.

That will be fun at 7:00 am!!
  • I hope that anyone who can't use the tickets will contact the organisers so that they can hopefully be reallocated to someone who wasn't successful in the ballot.
  • My mum applied for the concert tickets and won!
I applied for the procession and i won!
Can't believe it. My daughter (at 15) must be one of the most fortunate people in the country as she is the second named person on both our applications.
What an amazing experience and memories to last a lifetime she is going to have!

Has anyone received their tickets yet? I got mine yesterday.
South stand, Block E, Row QQ. As there's with no seating plan I have no idea if thats good or not. I'm trying to visualise it a bit like the O2 arena, so I think I'm going to be very far away. The tickets are very nice as a souvenier.Fingers crossed this nice weather continues.

I can't believe it !!!! Got an email today we got 2 tickets but I can't used them as my son is 9 I think it is really unfair that they are not allowing children total discrimination !!! I understand about under 5's but a 9 year old is fine so total bummer and we can't give them away as you have to bring photo Id and proof of address so that's the end of that :(

I posted about the children thing when the ballot opened. My daughter is nearly 12, she would have loved to go. People shot me down in flames, saying "it's a long day for children blah blah blah " what a load of tosh !! My daughter has more staying power than any adult i know !
