Spotted this in the paper this morning.

5,000 winners will each be able to bring 1 guest. One application per person and ballot closes on 20th April.

Welcome to The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Tuesday 5th June - seating ballot at the Queen Victoria Memorial
On Tuesday 5th June, the Diamond Jubilee weekend will culminate with a day of celebrations in central London.
The day's events will include a service at St Paul's Cathedral followed by two receptions, a lunch at Westminster Hall, a Carriage Procession to Buckingham Palace and finally a Balcony appearance and Flypast.
The seats in place around the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace will allow 10,000 members of the public to enjoy the day's events from a ring-side seat, free of charge.
Ticket holders will be able to watch the departure from the Palace of The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, and many Members of the Royal Family to St Paul's Cathedral, the Carriage Procession to Buckingham Palace, a balcony appearance and flypast. There will also be the opportunity to watch the rest of the procession, coverage of the day, and the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral live on big screens whilst experiencing the unique atmosphere of this important national occasion.

Applications can be made from 09:00 hrs BST on 16 April 2012 until 23:59 hrs BST on 20 April 2012. Postal applications must be received by 20 April 2012. Applications received after 20 April 2012, whether online or by post, will not be considered. If you apply online, at the end of the application process, you will receive an email confirming safe receipt of the application within 48 hours. If you apply by post you will not receive any confirmation of your application.

thanks op i wasn't lucky in the last 1 i went for for my mum so have had another go

Bumping this as tomorrow is the last day to enter the ballot. Even though the more people who enter, the lower my chance becomes!

Bummer the guest has to be over 13 !!!! Bit mean I wanted to take my son his 9 .....

I received an email today to say that I am one of the lucky ones, and will be receiving my tickets in the post by the end of May. Fingers crossed for good weather.

I can't believe it !!!! Got an email today we got 2 tickets but I can't used them as my son is 9 I think it is really unfair that they are not allowing children total discrimination !!! I understand about under 5's but a 9 year old is fine so total bummer and we can't give them away as you have to bring photo Id and proof of address so that's the end of that
