Holiday Abroad For 1 Week & JSA Income Based

Hi, Im due to be going on holiday on the 26th May in europe for 1 week, Problem is my JSA sign on day is on the 29th may. What can I do or say to the JBO so I don't get my benefits stopped or suspended.
Claiming JSA income based.
Anyone that can help me regarding this will be greatly appreicated. Cheers

It is an offence to claim JSA if you are not available for work. Holidays outside the UK are considered to make you unavailable for work so I am afraid you will have to notify them you will not be available and then return to sign back on again on the day you become available again.John0

Sign off on the day of departure and when you return do a rapid reclaim. You cannot be paid income based JSA whilst out of the country.:footie:
