A warning to those looking for paid surveys. This company
www opinionworld co uk
gets you hooked with them with the promise of constant surveys that can earn you points that you can exchange for cash. They have the usual minimum amount of points accumulated before you can claim the cash.
Their trick is that when you have just joined they send you a couple of surveys that give you a decent amount of points. After that they just continue to send you surveys that you complete with no points reward.
All you get is a "free entry in a prize draw". So you can work it out from here. You end up just completing lots of free surveys in the hope that you will get more paid ones and you never accumulate enough points to exchange for cash.
Avoid them like the plague0 -
Thanks for all your above advice guys. Going to investigate this
(and no doubt use all your sign up links x)

I would disagree, I found the surveys with points attached (normally 100 points) are around 1 in 3 of the invites, the prize draw ones are a waste of time but if you start to fill in more and more they will send you more and more ones with points attached. Like other sites they tend to profile your account so if you don't own a car for example they won't send you car ownership surveys, always worth filling out the profile surveys and making sure that for the question "How often would you like to be invited to participate in surveys?" you answer daily
It's 1000 points minimum and a point is worth a penny (so 1000 points = £10), via paypal and unlike some other survey sites payment is pretty much instant (which is worth something when you get sites like Opinionbar [one to avoid I find] and Ciao where it takes up-to 6 weeks for them to deposit the cash into your account)
Since the turn of the year I've managed to get £51.00 out of them0 -
I'm a member of the following sites for surveys, it's no way a good earner as some months are better than others, but it's a little bit extra money to treat myself with. On average I get sent emails for around 7 surveys a day, I love tabbed browsing as I can do them at the same time flipping between tabs as they load. The trick is to keep on filling them out, even prize-draw entries ones as they will sent you paid-for ones once they have got a good 'profile' on you.
YouGov - Takes ages to reach the pay-out and surveys come in drips and draps, sometimes a couple a week, sometimes nothing for a couple weeks.
Valued Opinions - Pretty good, sometimes it screens you out after 10 minutes because you didn't answer a question correctly which is bloody annoying, but the gift vouchers are nice if you get e-vouchers they come pretty much the same time, gift-cards take a while to come though the post
Ciao - A bit hit and miss, more misses than hits and with the hits you get the payout per survey is pennies (25p for 30 minutes!), plus it takes up-to 6 weeks for your money to reach your paypal account.
Surveys.com - Similar to Ciao with hit & miss, as rewards I get "ipoints" which varies per survey.
GfK Media - The "what did you watch on TV/listen to the radio" survey, prize-draw only where it's a payout of £2/£5 every couple months unless your lucky enough to get sent an invite to one of their week-long media surveys where you get given £10 (I like those)
MySurveys - Similar to Surveys.com & Ciao I found, although if you screen out you still get 10 pointsNectar points or vouchers, I take nectar points as they are worth more
It's nice when you get sent an invite for their "MyPersonalRoutine" surveys, nice little earner (700+ points for a week long survey at what products you use ie toothpastes)
PoliticsHome - Avoid if you want to earn money as it's prize draw only
OpinionWorld - See my above post, good if you keep at it
OpinionBar - Avoid if you want fast paying, they don't send that many surveys out (1 every 10 days or so) and the ones they send out close within the same day, like Ciao they take a while to pay you once you asked for your money
Songpeople - See what I said for OpinionBar, 2000 points for a "voucher" and when surveys tend to earn you 30-100 points but they are generally long.
I think that's all the ones I belong to.

Agree, but they never screen you out at least.

The screen out questions seen to be getting longer and longer but I get surveys pretty much everyday and I've had the highest number of payouts with then too. As you say, their e-vouchers come through instantaneously.

They don't send out loads of surveys but they tend to be higher paying than any of the other sites I use and I also seem to get screened out far less. I've had payouts from then too and the bank transfer took about a week.

I'm also with:
One Poll - took quite a while to get my fist £40 but my second one is going quicker. They tend to be 5p - 10p at a time but the surveys are generally fairly short. They also have prize draw surveys (even shorter) but I've never won a voucher. You need to go to their website as they don't send out emails.
Toluna - frequent surveys but it seemed to take me forever to get enough points for an Amazon voucher. You can speed things up by doing small on-line questions as well. They took forever to send my e-voucher out as well (over a month).
Thanks for all your tips everyone and I hope my experiences are of help too!0 -
At least with OpinionBar if you get screened out, they still give you 10p.0

Great share, thanks for that information.
While I was looking for any way to make money online, a friend of mine told me about paid surveys.I tried that and I can tell that this is one of the fastest and easiest for people to star making money online. The good thing is that you don't need any skills and you can start today. Most of the sites want you to pay them for registration, but I found one absolutely free site.I personally make more than $3000/month from this site. Here is the link:

I have been a member of this site for about 3 years. I have never won a big prize but I used to get an Amazon voucher for £5 every other month.
However I have not won anything since last October
A friend of mine was in the same boat in March and asked if his tickets were in the draw as he had not won since August. Suprise suprise in that month he won........... a £2 voucher.
I am wondering if any GFK members have the same experience?0
