Solid Fuel Back Boiler

Does anyone know anything about Solid Fuel Back Boilers?

I've googled but can't find much information on if they are safe/easy to run etc

the problem is, Im viewing a flat later (i need to move next month) and thats the type of boiler it has and I've never come across one before.

I really like the flat & its the only one I've found willing to accept the partial housing benefit i receive ( low income & 3 yr old daughter)

Can anyone give me some info on them please?

Not so common these days perhaps but it's basically just a means of heating water via the fire & shouldn't be a major problem.
