Ive been bombarded with gap emails saying burger premiums in my area have skyrocketed blah blah despite not being able to do them since my photo was sent around stores a few years ago, although I was never sacked and can still do other projects inc the burger late night special projects (?!?) So I replied saying if you put me back on Ill happily do them etc

    just had the following reply,

that may or not answer why some people get cancelled / taken off projects...

Oh, that's interesting. I have a feeling that's happened to me. I was identified and questioned about a report about a month ago, after a ridiculously long delay during drive through experience. Since then, I've been to places I've never visited before, and in one, in particular, it was a total floorshow, akin to high school musical. I parked on site. It was embarrassing - I noticed people pointing at me as I got up from table, two people had come to make conversation with me at table (even the cleaner asked where I was from etc), then one followed me into toilets and polished mirror, when it was already sparkling. On the next visit to another location, I left my car off-site and it was ok. I now feel sufficiently unnerved that I'm not taking the jobs. I'm not sure if they have circulated my picture, or my car, or both. I guess a private plate hasn't helped.

Does anyone have any experience of GFK waving the rules on their tv visits? There are 3 in one area that have been sitting for aaaages but they say you're only allowed to do one per day per town. They're not ACTUALLY in the same "town" but I guess they're in the same area and share managers. It's worth my while to travel and do all 3 but it's not worth it for one.

You can but ask, they have split three for me in the past, the had Glasgow City Centre, Partick and Cumbernauld all classed as Glasgow.

Don't let the floor show bother you. I've had many floor shows, at first it was embarrassing but now I've come to expect it and it amuses me. You know they know and they probably know you know they know, just play along with it. Chances are they've not circulated yours or your car's picture....It's just because you've asked for a receipt and ordered the typical MS meal.

Thank you - that's reassuring. Never been spotted by anyone else. I guess I just have to regain my confidence. I do wonder how much a single person stands out with a standard order though.

I'm a single person and have gone in for buckets etc, so if anything stands out that does...

I just find the floorshow really uncomfortable. Couldn't even take a bite, and I had people fussing over me. That doesn't happen when I visit with my three little dwarves! :)

There are several to do each month at the same store though yes? I see lots advertised for the same stores. Last time I did one I was given the wrong receipt at the counter somehow and went back to ask for the right one as I was leaving. Their faces were a right picture. They clearly knew then....
