Those of you thinking that GAP potentially losing the burgers would be a bad thing - just wait until GAP randomly kick you out for no apparent reason, then you might beg to differ!

Good point, Gyp fired me around 2 years ago and never missed them. There are better companies and fees out there :)

    Burgers are unhealthy anyways :D

Unless we know for certain, isnt it more likely a burger competitor is checking out standards? or is brief identical? Doubt MF have the UK resources to handle a change over of a project that would involve 100000s report a year, especially if Gap are still doing other countries.

Not sure how sucessful MF would be as Gap rely on additional fees to get jobs done and MF do not appear to have the same level of flexibility negotiating these.

Still, will be interesting, eye peeled

Has anyone used OB Mystery Shopping? I signed up initially, but the woman wants a photo, a signed disclaimer posted by snail mail, and I'd have to invoice them after each shop. I asked why they needed a photo and the woman basically just said there was no real reason, she was just nosey, but it was still a requirement. Oh and she wants me to add her as a friend on Facebook :rotfl:

So in short, my initial reaction was 'no thanks!', so just wondering if anyone is with them and if it's worth the hassle?
  • Hi

I did some work for the 'Naked' Co (who pay in Euros) at the beginning of May & wondered when I would likely be paid.

It's quite some time since I did anything for them & thought (hoped) 2 months wait was about it but I know things change.

    Any ideas?

  • How long does it take for Retail Maxim to pay? I did a job on April 10th and had a feedback email to say it had been approved (it was a video visit). I then had an invoice at the end of May. Looking through my accounts I still haven't been paid. I know my details are correct with them as they've paid me before.

Wondering whether I should chase them up.

They pay end of month following completion of jobs, so May jobs paid end June, June jobs paid end of July etc. You should get something by Friday.

Maxim normally cut off about 12th of month and then pay about 28th. You should have been paid for April at end of May so I would chase PDQ.
