Yes, obviously.0 -
Those of you thinking that GAP potentially losing the burgers would be a bad thing - just wait until GAP randomly kick you out for no apparent reason, then you might beg to differ!
That line of thinking can apply to a whole multitude of MSC. Those who UKIMS or ABA wont take on or are not one of Assosia's pets for example. At least with GAP they let you register and do some work.0 -

UKIMS took me on but no work ever shows up for me anymore. not even the deep discounters anymore.
Not a fan of Assosia anymore either, they took a dislike to me and only give me work if theres no hope of it getting covered. And they are as bad as ESA for mileage.
Never worked with ABA, all I know about them is they have the supermarket that TNS, Grassroots, GAP and ESA don't.
I'm actually really quiet at the moment, mind you that is at least in part cause I've not been hunting for work. Trying to work out if fees have dropped in general recently or am I just putting a higher value on my time, a lot of assignments I used to take happily now look a lot less worthwhile, TNS supermarkets, GAP cornershops and ABA-i anything stores come to mind. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Its going to be interestng to see what GFK dow ith the quick banks - they are normally at the begginning of the month aren't they?0

I'm assuming its ok to link this given its in the industry news?
It does make me chuckle that we can't name clients when either they or the MSC clearly state the connection - e.g. GAP list their burger and petrol clients on one of their home pages! So I still know who you're talking about, although they won't take me on0 -

Mind you it doesnt look like they hire MSers so wondering where they are going to source their data from.misssarahleigh wrote: »Anyone heard of that company?
In relation to other research yes, didnt realise they did this kind of research but again I don't know where they will get the primary data, are they outsourcing the MSing? This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

I never used to see anything with UKIMS but now see a fair bit. They are a good company to work for and the mileage always comes in handy. Having said that, the staff are almost as clueless as TNS!
I'll second you on the Assosia one (am I not meant to say their name, face bothered?). I get all the rotten visits no one else does, you know the ones where the pay is in single units and they want you to prance about with stuff in store for like 3 hours. And people say RA pay is bad, I don't think so!
ABA also have another client which GAP has and they send you all over the area doing those and from what I have heard, you earn funking shed loads with that! Shall I send a posh box of chocolates to ABA and ask them to take me on?;);)
The worst company in my opinion has to be TNS. The staff seriously need to go on a TERN eye test and get their eyes sorted. They can't even read emails properly. If I mystery shopped their staff, they would get negative 10! At this rate, I am going to send them to Room 101 in the very near future.0 -
