Please refrain from posting about individual jobs and particularly individual jobs that you've released - this only serves to annoy others who aren't local to you, who may receive an email alert to a new job posted on here, only to find that it's a RE visit to the Outer Hebrides (for example). Its also worth noting that GR and Gfk (at least) release jobs bit by bit, so what you see as a new job may not be visible in everyone's area.
I think you will find that that poster works for the company and only pops on to do alerts.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

There are no matches tomorrow and only two today so you'll need to bet on:
England v Ukraine
Sweden v France
I'd go with 2-1 (to England) and 1-0 (to France), but what do I know??0 -
I recall some contributors saying they are Ex-GAP, having been with them for ages then received a letter thanking them and saying their services are no longer required.
Does anyone know their policy on this, as it seems unusual to let established folk go if there is no real reason to (after all, most staff will change faster than a MS). Alternatively, is it a time sensitive issue, like after 2 years its time to go?0 -
I'm calling England 1-0 and France 2-0, but I know nowt about footie so lets see what happens. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

My turn to help you (your in my o2 thread lol)
There is no rhyme or reason as far as we can all work out. Some people have been sacked after weeks/months/years and those people have ranged from 0 jobs to 200 plus.
I think we can only assume there is some kind of program that selected a % of shoppers at random and send out the "Your sacked" email. Quite a few of those that have reporter it also say they have a very good relationship with GAP and work in an area where they struggle to cover jobs due to the lack of shoppers, bu they are still happy to let the few who have go.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

I think they get bored and put everyone's shopper number in a hat, and whoever gets picked, gets sacked! I got given the heave ho after a few months and I still have no idea why. I did all my reports on time and didn't cancel a single one, and I did a few urgent shops for them too. Mimi is confused, very confused.
However, one of their good points is they paid me for every single visit. They didn't try and pull a fast one.
Well chuffed that REACT are getting new clients, I've seen at least 3 on their job board in the last 2 weeks.
Looks like the ESA camera shops are slowly closing down. Boohoo. Really enjoyed that visit!0 -
