Watch it DPJames Mimi1234 is going to get hot under the collar with all this love, because we all love Mimi but today the love has been coming your way (never thought that would happen!)
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

Hahahaha, it's OK flower. I handed my crown to DPJ. He has taken over and he is bloody hilarious isn't he? As long as Serendipity does not run off with him, I'm happy. :D;):p

Anyway, it's nice everyone is getting on (well almost), makes a change.

    Wrong.

Furthermore, forum remarks don't come under libel laws - libel is about publications, not chitter chat on a forum like this one.Slander would be closer to the truth - if the comments were lies, that is.

    Wrong, again.

Wow, I haven't laughed that hard in ages. I did try explaining to the other people in the room what was going on but clearly they didn't understand.

I think the poster clearly has some mental issues. Reading it all in one go what she reads and how she interrupts it shows she's not a full shilling. Let's just hope she's gone and thank god we don't know her in real life lol

Oh DP, I think you can have a beer to celebrate. I think you have gained a little love today.

Strange you keep saying 'she / her' - when I was reading those posts, Denny was definitely a He in my mind. Probably because (s)he was being such a tw*t :D:p - No offence to the lovely males in the room!

I think it's really funny actually that all of his follow up posts to hurl abuse at everyone were because of DPJ's original reply actually meaning to completely agree. What a dumba$$! I must admit I was confused at first, thinking it was probably not a good idea for the poster to have signed off with their full name, but then read again and noticed the !!!!s, which I know MSE does to replace swearing. So actually Denny - if you hadn't come in here all guns blazing and swearing your !!!!! off, this wouldn't have happened in the first place!

It's not cliquey at all here - yes there are a few 'in jokes', such as the great love affair between Mimi and Serendipity (and pizza/burgers/chips/ice cream etc etc) :p But that's because actually, it's a pretty friendly bunch. People who join in and stick around and 'get to know people' as much as is possible here, can and do join in too. No on will be excluded from anything if they are nice too.

At the end of the day, of course people are going to have opinions, and of course not everyone is going to agree with them, but isn't that the whole point of forums sometimes - to have discussions, not to all agree with each other.

I came under fire a couple of weeks ago over a phone call incident. Won't bother going into it, but those who didn't think I should have done what I did said so. And why shouldn't they, because that's their opinion. Even if I hadn't have agreed that it wasn't necessarily the right thing to do, that doesn't mean I would value their opinions any less just because I disagreed. (Oh, and just to update - I did actually get a call back from her a couple of days later to apologise, and of course I apologised too, and all is well :) Also had a call from someone else though, presumably higher up, to check she had phoned me back. So Hello on here whoever from TNS is reading and knows who I am, or so I assume)
Anyway, I digress. Despite that, if I have a genuine question or comment about something, I know that people would still try and help, and indeed have done so. But, if when people disagreed with me, I had turned around and started throwing insults left right and centre, then I'm sure that would (quite rightly so) not be the case.

We know Market Force fees are low. We also know that while some jobs pay over the min wage, plenty do not. But it is up to each person to decide whether to accept that job. And like someone already said, yes sometimes jobs take longer than anticipated and the MS company don't seem bothered about that, so we grin and bear it, learn our lessons, and move on. It's swings and roundabouts though, as there are also some jobs that are over and done with more quickly and more easily than anticipated. So overall, it's ok :)

As for the 'minimum wage' - that is a figure decided by government that they see as acceptable in order to stop employees being exploited.
We are not employees are we though when MSing - we are Self Employed. Which means we have more choice and freedom over what work we do, so that is our protection from being exploited. That means we cannot expect to always earn the minimum wage if we chose jobs that are time consuming for a low fee.
I know it took you longer than anticipated, and I do feel for you as this can be very frustrating when it is beyond your control. However judging by your etiquette on here, I wouldn't think that you dealt with it professionally so no wonder they refused to give you what you wanted just because you threw your toys out of the pram. I had problems with a job that took longer than anticipated due to their client I was visiting doing things wrong. A polite and reasonable e-mail, whilst still being firm, but fair, to the MS company and the fee was increased accordingly.

At the end of the day 'Denny', you are not going to get far in life if this is how you react when you don't get your own way.
My 2 year old is more reasonable than you and has lesser tantrums when he doesn't get his own way. (Obviously had to throw in that little insult at the end - you know, 'cause we are all so rude and 'orrible on this thread)

Whoops, did not realise I'd just written a novel there. Been a long day and I've kept dropping off every few sentences, so apologies if I've repeated myself or just rambled :D:o
Won't read it back now though as my eyes are going again!
    Time for bed I think...
