Bloomin MF... I've had nowt from them for ages (not that I'm missing much, I do understand this ). Yesterday I thought I'd add the name of the town I'm going to next week for a couple of days and see if I could pick up a sandwich or something whilst I'm there.

Suddenly there are loads of visits around my home address, marked as 20 miles from Other Town. I've taken Other Town off again, and they all disappear.

So, yeah. If you're not getting work from MF, check your address because their postcode system doesn't seem to work properly. Shock! :rotfl: :rotfl:

dod you evere feel bad doing your job as teh shop is so busy and the poor staff seemed rushed off there feet, had a shoe shop today 7 customers 3 staff they had to go upstairs to fetch the shoes

Has anyone managed to take a photo of the phone shop for GFK after the visit? I got followed out and the MOS stood in the doorway, was there even 15 minutes later. Tried taking one 3 hours later, MOS saw me, walked out asking if I wanted to take the deal out. I scarpered!

Having said that I always explain in the report and get paid.

I have only ever been followed out ONCE after an RE bookie but they only looked at me then went back inside. I hate GFK phoneshops so try not to do those jobs

I've just been accepted by Retail Maxim. In the email it says that all jobs are assigned by phone, can anyone tell me what number usually comes up when they call? It's just I don't normally answer the phone if I don't recognise the number and I don't want to miss out.

Are RM quite good for regular work or should I only expect occasional jobs?

If you have not given a landline number, they don't call. They just text. It's like a company text and specifically says RETAIL MAXIM on it when you get one. A lot of companies do this these days.

They used to be really good for regular work, but now I have to call them every month and ask if they have work. I think I have done about 4 visits for them over the last 6 months. It's good to be on their books as sometimes they do give you a circuit. Also, the number of clients they had seems to have dropped a fair bit over the years.

I can still remember my first 2 visits. The dry cleaners which RE recently had and the cookies which RE now have. They both had "proper" reimbursements and both paid mileage too. Sigh. Those were the days.

I don't understand why they want a post-visit photo - what difference does it make if you take a photo before the shop?
