...but if the staff were to get wind that this was the 'magic question' it would sound alarm bells, perhaps we should have been given a list of simple questions and just choose one to ask that way we'd be less obvious?0 -

Oh alright, maybe it's not that obvious, by the standards of some of the obvious questions clients expect you to ask. But can't they look at your account and see what you're already doing? I only ever go in branches for these jobs. :rotfl:0 -

Yep, I've had a couple in a day and the staff member has browsed my statement of recent calls and made a comment. I managed to tell a porky and I think she was none the wiser but I'm sure they know anyway. It's a bit like burger jobs and a receipt, might as well be mystery shopper neon forehead time.......0 -
Thank you Spender for the PIP heads up! I managed to get around 10 calls from them so thank yoooooo! X0

I'm sorry for the hassle you've had Amber. It'll be the same person, or group, that dobbed me in, and continues to cause our Helion contact grief. I think their leader has an affiliation with driving farm machinery (and not a muck-spreader, although it'd be more appropriate).
All very petty and uncalled for.
I don't know what to suggest, other than perhaps form your own little group of reliable contacts that you can PM when you have jobs available (wink, wink)
Take care, and good luck
To set the record straight, and clean my name, I would like to stress that
(1) I did not dob you in. I have better things to do with my time. (Athough I may well know the people who did!!!)
(2) I have never reported the Helion rep as I feel he/she SHOULD be allowed to post on here (and I do NOT know who did!!!)
(3) And I most certainly didn't dob in Amber, (a) Because I too know his/her real identity and (b) Because I've been on a school trip all day and only just got back.
So please dont try to belittle me when you have absolutely no proof. Oh, and you obviously have no reason why my username is what it is either, have you?!!!We’ve had to remove your signature. I remember one time I was in the Post Office, posting receipts to 'Mystery Shoppers Ltd'. The MoS said, "Eeee, are you one of them mystery shoppers then?" I told her I might be, and she then asked, "Is that when you come in, ask about driving licences and tax discs, and then buy some stamps or post a letter?"
I told her I didn't do any work for the post office so didn't have a clue. But all these different assignments we do, the staff are all obviously aware of what to look out for, and what the magic questions/signals are.
I agree with Ziggy, there should be a selection of questions to ask. It'd make it harder for them, and easier and more natural for us, and the data would be much more accurate and usable.0 -
