Due date was only on Monday so I'm gonna assume it is the end of June, any earlier and I'll be happy.

Due date has been extended til next week now. They have a few still left to cover.

However! They do say "There is no need to complete a pay claim unless you are asked to as pay will mostly be sent automatically within 20 days of the visit." Hoping for it before I go off for a weekend at the end of June.

Does anyone know if we can use a voucher when doing the torso shops for GR? I am sure I have seen one for about 40% off flying around on the internet. Woowoo if we can use one.

Did a spicy electrical for GR today. The mos did not want me to go without buying the tv. Holy !!!!!, all 4 mos's ganged up on me! Only when I asked for some batteries at the end, did it click I was the "special one".

Does anyone know when we will possibly get paid for the fast food price checks?

Rather different to my experience then, guess the staff kick-up-the -!!! hasn't reached the Great Wen. Ended up having a conversation with another customer about being ignored by the staff and how John Lewis were offering much better deals...

The phone number Gap call me from to offer me jobs is based in Italy. I think their HQ is Australia.

I so wish i was ms them yesterday

took my mother to buy a new freezer
shed already chosen one she'd seen on which? and had a gift card present from me and sisters towards it
1st ms: yup we have that one
me: Ive seen it cheaper similar else where do you offer price matches
ms: where did you see it...blah blah blah,
me: show ms my phone with offer one
ms1: oh theres is only in silver so we wont match it ours come only in white, if we had it in silver we would have it on display wouldnt we, your better off to buy it at store z and use your gift card on something else here..
me : really ? ok ill have a browse thanks....
browsing at some others , over comes
    ms2 : blah blah
    me: blah blah
ms2: oh really.. yeah we have it in silver ill check the price and ill have to check they have stock before we can match it..
ms1 was listening and gives us evil looks...
ms2 goes off to check stock.. apparently
    5 mins later

ms3 on way to do something else but notices us waiting and comes over :can I help you
me: well some one was meant to be helping but he seems to have walked off and got lost
ms3 really sorry about that, I was just going on my break but ill see if i can help

ms3 was perfectly helpful, instantly confirmed they had it available in either colour, would match the other stores price (over £170 cheaper) and available to deliver the next week...
walked to till to pay and saw ms 2 just chatting and joking to ms 1

turns out ms2 was some sort of manager too

Id write a complaint about the poor service, but would probably want to attach an invoice for my report so wouldnt bother going in to any detail :rotfl:

will fill in positive feedback about the ms3 though
I think that is something that people dont do enough in general when they get it

in light of a phone call I had yesterday. what's the furthest you've ever gone / been asked to go for a gap burger, or similar 'small' job?

Gap's lack of UK geography sometimes shows

Furthest I've gone for a burger is about 90 miles return. Much increased fee plus I picked up two petrol jobs at over double their usual fees that I wouldnt have bothered with otherwise. One of them only 100 yards from the burger shop.

Been asked to go further and not just with Gap. Turned down a job with GFK that they insisted was only 50 miles away. Tried to point out that the road they wanted me to take was shorter distance wise but longer time wise due to its up/downs, twists and single track sections. Plus the site wasnt in the town they kept quoting but was another 15 miles further on.

Well if the Gap chaps are calling from Melbourne, that's like 9 hours ahead of here. I usually get calls in the afternoon or early evening, so it must be 12am - 3am there!!!

    !!!!!!?!

I've agreed to a 200 mile round trip tomorrow to have a burger. a combination of cold hard cash, and a good driving road got me.

Are you mental? How many times the usual fee did you get? I'd want £100 to do that!!
