Its not just the fees, they are well know for refusing to pay for reports they deem not up to standard, these never get re-shopped however.

Or attempting to rip you off! I did the old folks shoe shop, got some shoes, sent them back and she tried to fob me off with just the fee which was less than the Special Delivery I paid. Made her cough up in the end! Only ever did 2 shops for them and then sent them packing.

Has anyone else recently done visits where units/stores have closed down? That's 2 for RE and 2 for REACT I have done in the last month. If this carries on, there will be nothing to MS!

I did today, I was called by ESA for 2 urgent jobs, one was closed, I called them and left a message and they got back to me. Luckily they will pay me for it.

I did a shop for GFK last year that had closed down. The annoying thing was that I was in the shopping centre the day before where the shop was supposed to be located but it was the day before the shops began and I didn't think to identify where the shop was. If I had then I would have saved so much time. They paid me the full fee anyway.

I dont work for AA because of the low fees but I dont see WHY they should pay people for reports that are not up to standard???? So you're saying we should be able to send in sub-standard reports and get away with it?

No I'm not, I'm saying that perfectly good reports get rejected for spurious reasons, leaving fees and reimbursements unpaid but the jobs never get re-shopped.

Are they MSPA/MRS registered? I told them where to put their jobs a long time ago, to be honest I'm amazed they are still able to function, and they are based locally to me too.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

  • I've had a skim through past threads but couldn't find an answer. Is it normal if your new to Gapbuster to only ever see jobs advertised for 2 fast food joints? Is it because I'm a rookie or is it just that's the only clients in the area?

Possibly the only client in the area but also you can only accept 2 jobs in your first month (possibly 2 months) If anyone on here is from the same area they may be able to clarify. It does seem odd though.

I think mine started like this as well, I could only see the food ones but now I can see all jobs even the ones that I did not do the orientation for. It just has the graduation icon next to it but nevertheless I see them all.

With Gap a lot of the "good" jobs don't hang around for very long, so you're left with burgers. If they ever phone you to get you to do burgers for them they sometimes offer you some of the better jobs, so they might never go onto the board for you to see.
