I applied for a lloyds classic account but got denied, but they said i could open a cash account which i did now its fully open. My concern is i owed Bank of scotland money in the past, but it seems bank of scotland has sold the debt to westscot as its westscot who put the default on my credit file.
My question is can bank of scotland take funds from my lloyds if i use it, Thats if they dont close it within a week due to me failing some weird checks they do.

The terms and conditions say yes.
BCOBS regulations say that they have to warn you in advance.
Internal practice within LBG does not allow for cross brand right of set off. So at this point in time it won't happen.0
