Evening all
We are looking to replace our front door and current metal windows (Unfortuntely no orginal sashes just nasty metal replacements!) with uPVC Sash windows for our bay at the front.
We have been quoted a total of £4200 this includes:
the bay window - 3 large panels - very good replica's of the orginal sash windows. The biggest panel with have a georgian bar down the middle and all with toughened glass.
a new front door from the english door company - this alone costs £1600 - see link, 3rd picture down first row, this one shown in white but we are having french grey http://www.theenglishdoorcompany.com/image-gallery
We dont know of any other glazing companies apart from going to the likes of Anglian e.t.c and the door is quite a bespoke design not sold widely.
Would appreciate your feedback on the quote. we are based in the south east if that helps.
