This is more of a 'bump' for the post rather than an answer...

I'm on IB but have no renewal date - so I just sit and wait for the post each day! I know it's going to happen but have absolutely no idea of when!....but I'd be interested to hear other people's reaponse to your question....just to see of there is some sort of system or if it is completely random!
  • 1. I went on a medical assessment on the 30/12/11.
    2. Received letter 16/04/12, putting me on the WRAC, effective date:
    05/05/12.
    3. Supposed to stay on WRAC, till 04/05/13.
    4. Will not be able to claim again, as husband works.

My IB was due for renewal in March 2011.

I received the ESA50 form and returned it in December 2011.

I was transferred to ESA support group in March 2012 without the need for a medical.

IB medical due Oct 2010, never happened! heard nothing since. Still on IB, awaiting migration to ESA..No letters, no nothing about ESA. If I had no TV, computer and did'nt read newspapers, I would be blissfully unaware of any changes at all, boy would I be in for a shock..

My OH has been on IB for about 17 years, no renewal date, has never had a medical, hasn't sent sick notes in for about 16 years, we've heard absolutely nothing about the transfer to ESA.

We know it's going to happen, we just don't know when! My daughter leaves full-time education in the summer, she's on his claim so I wonder if it'll trigger the transfer when we ring to get her money stopped?
