^^Thanks for that floss2.0

I have the same problem, I started working on 10th April and pay 45 pounds holiday deduction a week. I spoke to my consultant who told me that wouldn't be his "forte" and gave me an expensive phone number to ring the Hays office in London. :mad:0

I pay 12.10 % of my hourly rate for holiday pay.0

Is this the number you are using for your payment queries? 0844 800 0885???
I want to call an 020 number.
Apparantly there is no 020 / 03 local access number for the above 0844 neither an email id is provided.
Call it "cunningly shrewed" corporate strategy of administrators of a filthy rich corporate who employs 10000s of temp workers in the UK and still expect them to pay to make a call-contact with them !!!0 -
Yeah I figured out the number thing.
I did check out the website "saynoto0800", they did have an 020 number when I called there was a voice mail message saying to call the 0844 number.
Regarding the post I posted in this thread earlier on. I had accidently been given 2 worker reference numbers so my holiday hours were under another number. Well that's been sorted now.
I still work for hays. When they give you your basic rate they always tell you it's including holiday pay. So they deduct it and then give it back to you when you do actually take the holiday. It's a bit annoying especially if your on housing benefits and the amount of rent you pay is dependant on your gross income. But since I recently got an increase it doesn't bother me that much any more.0 -
Hays = bunch of robbing gits.
Nice one - problems with their system and you've got to pay up to 40p per minute to speak to them.0 -
