Of course if you insured through and popped in to see your local insurance broker they would have advised you of the alternative choices as a matter of course.
It is because they can - it's called customer service.
You seem to now be spamming us with your constant promotion of insurance brokers without mentioning you are one when you spam, but constantly tell us you are in other posts. And as already pointed out to you, your jibes don't offer any help to posters with problems!
Apart from breaking the site rules, you join the ranks of other rogue brokers who seem to spot an opportunity here for some self promotion. Your behaviour just brings disrepute on your "profession".0 -
Does 'N/A' in the table mean the price is not available, or not applicable?0

It should really say £0.00 rather than N/A!0

Just to warn people that Hastings Direct charge £35 to change the address on Motor insurance policies. They said it is to cover the work to amend policy documents and update the motor insurance database. Funny that it costs £35 when the revised documents had been emailed to me before the telephone conversation had ended!
Oh, and as I am in a temporary accommodation I will need to change my address when I move to my permanent new home in the next month. Hastings Direct said I wouldn't have to pay another £35 if I moved within 3 weeks.
So, if I am in my temporary accommodation longer than 3 weeks I will have to pay them another £35. These charges are crooked and I am email HD to complain. I shall let you know what they say.0 -
Maybe part of the £35 goes towards funding the computer system that made the change and emailed it out so quickly.Just to warn people that Hastings Direct charge £35 to change the address on Motor insurance policies.
