Stain resistant paint

My hallway could do with some decoration. I paid £1.5k 3 years ago to have it stripped, replastered & painted (magnolia) but now it is absolutely filthy.
I don't want to repaint over the walls as I really want to avoid having to pay lots of money again in 10 years time to have it stripped again. I really hate layers & layers of paint, I just want something that will last.
My dad sent me a newspaper article about stain resistant paint:
http://www.acesensations.com/
Apparently you can scrub the wall if it becomes dirty. Does anyone have any experience of using stain resistant paint? Is it really stain resistant & matt (not shiny)?
I live in a long dark terraced house so need a light colour for the hallway but I don't want to have to repaint it every year because I am am trying to keep my house clean & avoid build up of paint.

There is a paint out from 'dulux', its not been on the market long, its called 'real life', and it does what it says on the tin.
I have used it many times, and its fantastic coverage, and I did spill something on the wall, tea, and it just wipes off and doesnt leave that dull mark that you normally get if you wipe off paint, and the paint doesnt come off on the cloth either.
It cost a pound or so more, but well worth it, it says on the tin that its 10 times tougher, and it is.
It has teflon in it, and comes in a variety of colours.
Go on the dulux website and have a look.:D0 -
we have just put this paint on my sons bedroom walls (The dulux one) and our conservatory and with young kids and a dog it is fantastic:D
Marks just wipe away and you dont have to touchup or anything.
I just bought it for my kitchen walls too then son got no excuse not to make coffee etc ("I might spill it" )and no I dont work for dulux:rotfl:
We have tried the crown version but havent found it as good.0 -

Roses, it more that £25 per 5 ltr tin, but the beauty of dulux is that a 5ltr tin stretches to 6+ when adding a bit of water, and I dont work for dulux either, but in my job I use dulux 99% of the time.
Handyman, the trade diamond matt is very expensive I think, a lot more than £25,I could be wrong......0 -
ok, thanks. I will try out the Ace Sensations one.0
