JSA premium for disability - is it taxable?

I get DLA but want and am able to do some work. I was working for 7 months and my job ended. I am now getting JSA with a disability premium. I have paid over £700 tax for the year and need to work out if I can claim a rebate. Basically, I can work out all the figures but cant seem to find out if the premium is a taxable benefit like the JSA is. Please help if you can.

If only it was that simple. I sat in a queue a few days back for 45 minutes only to be told that they didn't know. They had never heard of the benefit and it was not on any of their lists so they were reluctant to say. They just referred me back to the jobcentre who I can't get through to at present. Phone just rings and then they tell you to call back later. I have several times and it is always the same message. Thought that somebody might just know on here.0
