Tax Credits- CONFUSED!!!

Hi all.
i was made redundant in november 2011 and have been claiming Contribution based JSA which finishes on 21 may.
my child tax credits have stopped as they are saying me and my partner will earn too much this year 2012/13.
we have 1 child who is nearly 2 and my partners earnings for 2011/12 was £22465 and mine was £5340(my wages until Nov + JSA).
After 21 May my only income will be child benefit £21 a week.
Surely i should be entitled to child tax credits again after may as our income has nearly dropped £10k from last year. i used the online calculator and it keeps saying we wont get a penny!!!

its not that i dont want to work because i really do i just cant find employment anywhere i apply for at least 20 jobs a week and dont hear anything back!!

someone please help!!! we asked someone to check for us using a calculator online and they said we should be getting at least £80 month child tax credits!!!

CONFUSED AND DESPERATE FOR HELP!!!

No, thats telling them what you earned last year. You want to give them an estimate of what you expect to earn for 12/13 tax year. Phone them, give them an estimate and they'll base it on this.

ive just rang them with my estimate and theyve updated my details and said i would have to wait for my award notice coming through now.
Ive estimated my income for this year as £230000 so surely i should be entitled to something?!!!

the income threshold for 12/13 for a household with 1 child is around 26,000. Just have to wait and see whats on the award notice when it comes through!

maybe you can answer me as im highly confused.
    income for 2011/2012 was a approx 4.000

Got a new job and earnings for 2012/2013 are 23.000. im single over 25 and work 37 hours a week. my award is 52 pw , surely this is incorrect.
Or is it based on last years earnings, but i thought there was only a 10k disregard . my income will have increased by 19.000.
if only life was a box of chocs
