OP- did you go and see the flat?0

yepp, went there and it looked pretty good. The only downside was that the living area is a bit weirdly structure, so not sure how it would be best there to put the TV and sofa. But still think it is a bargain for that price ...0

Usual suspects will be service charges, listed building with changes made without approval, future (normally really expensive) works planned, structure problems.
Could be a gamble by the seller to generate a lot of interest and create a price war too.
If so many people went to see it, there is no harm in making an offer for it, just don't get caught in a bidding war.0 -
Could be desperate to sell for personal reasons.
Otherwise problems with building or neighbors or planned works that will cost a lot.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -
Why its so cheap? Honestly I would think its because it doesn't look very nice0

It is sold by an agency, more or less half of the flats of this building are sold by them for some reason. I think for England the flats look really, really nice, hopefully no one is offended by this comment

It could be an EAs trick of getting people in to view the property. Get a load of block bookings in, and then when you place an offer "Sorry, must have been a typo in the price, I'll ask it to be changed" and then the negotiators start their pushy tactics. Eventually someone agrees a price thinking they got a good deal and then later on finds out they paid the asking price and the EA was playing them.
I'm surprised it doesn't say "Offers in excess of £99,950".0
