single yellow lines outside home

Hi,

I live on the high street and there have always been single yellow lines outside in the parking bays, just recently they have been repainted and lots of signs have been put up. I also received a letter that mentions where i live is the enforcement area of their plan which they will implicate next month.

I have had two parking tickets for parking outside my home, one had been overturned and the other we couldn't be bothered so paid it.

What can I do to make sure i dont get a ticket?

If you have a right to park in the parking bays, are you able to obtain a pass from the local council to display in your car? You may be able to buy temporary passes for guests as well. If the council have decided that no-one has the right to park there you might need to argue your case in court, always assuming that the property in question is related in some way to the parking bays. It may be that the parking bays were put there for the convenience of delivery vehicles rather than the occupants, in which case you will have to park elsewhere.
