Update,
After my meeting on Tuesday and a lot of hassle over address. Turns out the local council have my flat under a slightly different address. Been accepted for a £97000 mortgage with Santander!!! Happy days!!
Would like to say thanks to the adviser in branch, she was brilliant in sorting out the address problem. Im probably the only person on here who has good words about Santander lol!!0 -
Nice to see them try and get the business rather than say "computer says no".

Which rates went up, as they only very recently put them up, a week ago, on April 12?
Have not checked yet, as I do not use them anymore.
I just got the generic e-mail saying we are playing with rates and they always say if they are decreasing them...I am a Mortgage Broker

Perhaps you should check that they actually have gone up before stating that that is the case?
A little worrying that you're offering 'personal' advice when you don't use them anymore.....I'm sure it's well intentioned but no longer first hand experience?0
