Afternoon guys!
I've had a horrible weekend. And a very expensive one! My tooth got worse and worse during Friday so ended up at the emergency dentist Sat morning... Been given antibiotics and am still taken painkillers! (still hurts LOADS tho!). Basically I need a root canal but have no appointments until next Sunday so I just have to wait it out! Annoyed because its cost me around £50 on meds and appointments, and the root canal itself costs another £48!
Used my CC for the first time this month and as I've now run out of money in the bank I'll probably be using it more before payday NEXT Friday! Boooo! I have minimal savings (£100) which I guess have to be used when things like that happen so may dip into them!
List for today:
- check bank
- check CC
- lunch at home as I've been sent home sick from work!
- had an eye test on Friday and I need glasses so going to go pick the cheapest pair now!!!
- NSD apart from glasses!
- go home to bed
Hope everyone's had a good day x0 -
Get well soon bt. That's no fun at all, and really unfair - I think dental charges are horrific.Ninja Saving Turtle0

Evening everyone!
Not sure what happened this morning, just couldn't pull myself out of bed! Thanks for starting us off DNMS, and hope court went ok!
Today I have/will:
Check banks
Check CCs
Check TCB
Check Ebay - one bid
Food from stores
Driveshare to work
Surveys on SB tonight - trying to get to $25 by end of month!
OU
Water!
Have been very naughty today and bought myself a new laptop - unfortunately ended up spending a bit more than planned as the £250 one in Comet (which I would have got 7% off) went up to £280! So bought from Amazon in the end, and took out free Prime trial so it will be here tomorow! Went through Nectar and used Tesco CC so got a few points coming. Whilst I can afford it, it means my savings contribution for next month will take a bit of a hit so whilst OH is taking all the rubbish software off it tomorrow night I'll strip down the current laptop ready for Ebay listing at the weekend - just had a glance at completed listings and am hoping to get at least £50 for the individual bits! Looking forward to having a laptop that doesn't freeze up or randomly lose the screen!
Right, off to do some surveying I think... or essaying... tough choice!
Have a great evening all!
