This is a DREADFUL program. I had NAV 2002 and it slowed my PC down no end - I bought 2005 and it takes minutes before the computer boots up and is ready to actually do anything. I really cannot stress enough how this hacks me off. I have a fast PC and even it struggles to load all the extra componentry of NAV 05 when it starts up.

    DIRE! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

F-secure antivirus is far less energy hungry and does an equally good job.

Unfortunately Symantec rely on the name of Norton to sell the product when, although it does the job really well, it seems to use up more processor than its rivals.

Just my opinion, having had NAV 05 since Sept last year. I'm getting rid of it next month to buy F-Secure instead which is priced at about £25 from the likes of Amazon

why does anyone pay for this rubbish? avast or AVG are both much better free alternatives. I just dont understand!
  • Anyone looking to purchase this version of NAV should be aware that it is not compatible with MS Windows ME or previous.
