Hello,
When we moved into our flat 7/8 years ago we put down a £500 bond. We always pay our rent on time every month.
Are we entitled to this back or some of this back as we have been renting from her for so long?
Thank you

on a prime facie basis no, but best to speak with your LL as to her flexibility."enough is a feast"...old Buddist proverb0

Assuming you are leaving, if you hand the place back in the same condition as when you moved in - allowing for fair wear and tear, you are entitled to you deposit back in full.
You do have a reciept for it, I assume?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
You are entitled to it back when you leave.
In full unless you have caused damage or owe rent or other debts to the landlord.
As DV says, do you have a receipt, or is the bond/deposit mentioned in the original tenancy agreement?0
