As above really, I have a red robin growing well but half the leaves have been eaten! Lots of bite marks but I can't tell what is eating it! There are no visable bugs anywhere on it or nearby.

Any ideas on how to protect my plant?

    Suspect its caterpillars

Have you had a look to see if you can see any?

You can either squish them with your fingers or if you prefer spray the plant. Something like Provado Ultimate bug killer should do the trick

I found a caterpillar! But it was in the bed next to the plant so ignored it! Bug killer it is! :-)
