I am also looking for car hire in Cyprus and Stevens Car Hire looks good - have looked on tripadvisor and they have some decent reviews. Paforentals have been recommended to me but I need to pick the car up in Larnaca so the price is increased as Paforentals are Paphos based. I had a bad experience with Budget in Ireland so have decided never ever to book with any Budget office again and I won't use CarHire 3000 either as they were useless when I approached them about the Budget problem as they were the booking agent. Luckily I finally got my problem sorted but not without a lot of effort and the involvement of the European Consumer Centre who were brilliant.0

We are off to Cyprus soon so looking for feedback on reliable car hire companies that will deliver to Larnaca Airport. Have been ripped off before by Budget when I booked through CarHire 3000 so want to avoid these plus don't want to pay for petrol up front as it's a complete rip off. Any recommendations??0

Not Stevens Car Hire, but I've always used Petsas Car Hire and they've been fab.
They delivered to our villa and picked up at the end of our holiday - all within 5 minutes of the agreed time. The guy dropping off the car was friendly and showed us everything without going OTT.
If we needed anything, we just had to call them, but the car was fine the whole week we were there. It wasn't a brand new car, but it was fine for what we needed it for and it got dusty / sandy anyway.
I don't know how they compare to others now, but at the time we went (2 years ago, and 3 years ago) they were the cheapest.
