Have all the signs gone, or just that one? It may be there was something wrong in the wording?

    Yes, very interesting.

It's possible that they've realised that by requiring "Blue Badges" to be displayed, they contravene the Equality Act 2010.

Now, I wonder who told them that?

If its similar to the T&C warning notices in the Asda carparks I use (near the P&D machines) then they were worst than useless. They state "for full terms and conditions" please contact Town and City Parking". So they expect you to enter into some sort of phoney contract without you having full sight of those T&Cs.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Just as well they never try to enforce the phoney contract in Court, then.

Please see full terms & conditions, they are located in a locked filing cabinet located in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard’.

Maybe your local Asda has seen sense and given the car-park over to the council to manage.

Or maybe they have seen even more sense and decided they can do without anyone driving the customers away, when the car park can manage just fine on its own...

Depends where the car-park is located, if its the middle of nowhere then they will do without, but if it's near to a town/city centre then some sort of management would probably be used (can't see them being happy if non-customers parked in the car-park and went down town to avoid paying the town's P&D charges).

Although some of these retail sheds only get planning permision if they can also create a car park that can be used by ther patrons of the town/local shopping area.
didnt one of these PPCs get unstuck after trying to 'fne' people parking on one of the German supermarkets ( aldi/lidl) for this reason?

    You mean this story?

    http://newsfrombrighton.co.uk/brighton-culture/shopping/aldi-fined-for-failing-to-offer-free-parking-in-portslade/

Something to do with the planning permission stated 3 hours and Aldi was only giving 1 hour free.
