White vinegar on windscreen? Cleaning it?

The first thing I tried was AG Glass polish. No luck.
Then I tried some window foam stuff we had, no luck.
The vinegar seemed to have done the job, but until I drive it home I won't know for sure.0 -
Try some white toothpaste - not the jel stuff !0
