The first thing I tried was AG Glass polish. No luck.
Then I tried some window foam stuff we had, no luck.
The vinegar seemed to have done the job, but until I drive it home I won't know for sure.

Did you put vinegar on it?

It's a renault? Check passenger footwell for engine coolant................
  • If it starts misting up again quickly, you may have a coolant leak.

Check your ventilation system isn't set to 'recirculate' although as the q was asked 14 months ago I guess you probably worked out the problem by now.
  • Use SWARFEGA, its what mechanics use to remove the grease from their hands, its brilliant for windscreens too.:money:

Hopefully the OP has the problem sorted by now seeing as this thread is almost
